The Saco Grande neighborhood has a very privileged location in the city, as it is located between the central region and the resorts in the north of the island of Santa Catarina.
The neighborhood is located close to the Monte Verde, Santo Antônio de Lisboa and João Paulo neighborhoods and is one of the regions of the capital that has grown the most in recent decades. Today, Saco Grande offers many facilities and has become a neighborhood that concentrates commerce, culture and leisure. It was also the place chosen to receive the administrative center of the Government of the State of Santa Catarina, which houses the Governador Pedro Ivo Theater.
Many business centers have been established in Saco Grande, such as Office Park, Associação Catarinense de Empresas de Tecnologia (Acate), Passeio Primavera and Square SC, modern spaces that house shops, markets, bakeries, restaurants, technology companies, doctors and other services.
Still on the same SC 401 Highway, there are many furniture, design and home products stores. We find great brands in the construction and decoration sector such as Tok&Stok, Balaroti, Sierra, Santa Rita and Cassol. And even Shopping Casa&Design, a complex of stores selling decoration items.
Another meeting point in the neighborhood is Floripa Shopping, with its 140 stores, a food court and an intense cultural program. The complex offers, in addition to its stores, a leisure space for the family, such as the Cinemark cinema, one of the largest cinema chains in Brazil, which in Florianópolis has seven rooms in the mall's space.
The trend for the neighborhood is to grow even more, becoming a hub of commerce and services. Real estate appreciation should remain strong, especially in horizontal condominiums and more sophisticated new developments.
