Florianópolis is not just an island! Although most of the city is in an insular area, it has many important points on the other side of the bridge. The mainland region is the only means of access to Santa Catarina Island and one of the most dynamic residential and commercial centers in the city.
With a beautiful waterfront, Coqueiros, Itaguaçu, Bom Abrigo and Abraão have numerous bars and restaurants that form the so-called Gastronomic Route. On the other side, on the edge of the Estreito, Balneário and Canto neighborhoods, the best option is to enjoy the Beira Mar Continental, the new apple of the eye of the city. Main transit route along the waterfront, it has become one of the most beautiful points with a panoramic view of the city, as well as a space for leisure and entertainment for residents and tourists.
Along Ruas Fúlvio Aducci, General Eurico Gaspar Dutra, Liberato Bittencourt, Pedro Demoro and Avenida Marinheiro Max Schramm there is a wide range of shops and services of all kinds, from hotels, bars and restaurants to supermarkets, car dealerships, furniture and decoration stores, among others.
