Jurerê Tradicional, as we call it to differentiate it from its neighbor Internacional, is one of the most charming neighborhoods in Florianópolis. The place has kept its more picturesque and calm characteristics, typical of the older residents of the region and the local culture.
Historically, the neighborhood has been home to summer homes for Florianopolis residents and families from other states who choose the island of Santa Catarina as a place to spend their holidays. However, Jurerê attracts more and more residents who find many resources and activities in the neighborhood throughout the year.
On the border between Jurerê and Canasvieiras is Canajurê, a higher ground with small beaches on the hillside, and where high-end residential buildings were built. The region is incredible and the view of the sea is breathtaking. The most famous marinas in the north of the island are also located on this part of the land, such as Blue Fox and Clube Veleiros da Ilha.
Jurerê beach is beautiful, with green waters and fine, clear areas, it starts in Canajurê and extends to the São José da Ponta Grossa Fort, with no formal division between Traditional Jurerê and International Jurerê. In total, its length is approximately 3.2 km with strips of sand that vary between 6 and 15 meters in width.
In this area, the beach is quite calm, ideal for families with children and the elderly, and suitable for running and walking, or cycling and practicing sports, especially water sports.
The Jurerê neighborhood offers many services and shops, as well as excellent options for schools for all ages, including the presence of bilingual schools.
At night, there is no lack of entertainment, many restaurants and bars welcome the local public in open environments, where you can follow the movement of cars and pedestrians. There are also many options for nightclubs and live shows.
With lower prices than neighboring Jurerê Internacional, Jurerê Tradicional is an excellent investment opportunity, with great potential for appreciation.
